The Beatles. Alive and Well in Branson, USA? Can It Be True? Before Beatle mania swept across the pond...before Ed Sullivan exposed the world to those parental pests from England who would have American kids growing out their hair, singing about yellow submarines, and walking down Abbey Road, there was Louise Harrison. Louise made faithful reports back to England. Who topped the charts in Cashbox? Who topped Billboard? Why? What was their record label. Were Americans listening to the Beatles? Had they heard of the Quarry Men? Brother George needed to know. Brian Epstein needed to know. And Louise was their only American reporter. A Beatle exclusive in Cashbox. Coming soon.

Rock Around the Clock. The Sax That Changed Music Forever! Bill Haley had an idea. He liked to play country and he liked the blues. But what if he added a little saxophone. A little sax, a little tweak, a little twist. It was crazy man, crazy. But it just might work. Its the story of how rock music was birthed and why that saxophonist and the drummer from the band are now in Branson, Missouri - still rocking around the clock, or at least til 10 every night, after all these years. Coming soon to Cashbox Magazine.
